ASPHALT BASE WORK

A typical asphalt base surface suitable for synthetic lawn tennis court consisting of 8" thick inch pavement which consists of:
Excavation to a depth between 8 to 12" or as required to remove all weeds and grass from its roots, create a slope of 6" in the sub-base on the shorter axis, backfill with good earth as required (without any grass or weeds and properly sieved). Extreme care would need to be taken to ensure a correct compaction of the
sub-base will be by 8-10-ton roller Providing and laying of hot mixed seal coat with stone dust prepared at site only
Drain: - Providing and making of an open storm drain 6-8" wide at the lower end maintaining a proper required slope
Edge wall: - Providing and making of retaining brick wall 9" thick and 10" high in totality duly plastered with jamuna sand surrounding the court
Carry out anti termite and weedicide on the total area by making 9" deep holes spaced 12" apart and injecting the chemicals and also spraying
Providing and laying of 1st layer of 3" compacted water bound macedam, WBM to be density compacted by keying and interlocking the aggregate using 90-63 mm aggregate to ensure no settlement takes place
Providing and laying of 2nd layer of water bound macedam (3 inches thick) same as above using 65mm aggregate
Providing and laying of BM Course, 30-35mm thick compacted using 15-20 mm thick aggregate and bitumen 80/100 or 60/70 grade bitumen of reputed brand preparing the BM course material in mini hot mix plant at site only
Providing and laying of AC course, 15-20 MM thick compacted using 6-8 mm thick aggregates and bitumen 80/100 or 60/70 grade bitumen of reputed brand preparing the AC course material in mini plant at site only lape of 1" in every 10'.
